JUST IN: Two abducted Kaduna journalists, their families regain freedom

Two abducted journalists in Kaduna, Abdulgafar Alabelewe, Abduraheem Aodu and their families have been released.

SolaceBase reports that the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kaduna Council, confirmed the development in a statement on Saturday.

Alabelewe works for The Nation newspapers and Aodu works for Blueprint newspaper.

The statement signed by NUJ Kaduna Council Chairman, Asma’u Yawo Halilu appreciated all those involved in the release of the media professionals and their families.
