BREAKING: Court adjourns suit against Sunday Igboho in Cotonou to Monday
The court in the Benin Republic hearing the suit against Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo popularly called Sunday Igboho over immigration-related issues has been adjourned to Monday, July 26.
Recalls that the Court on Thursday evening ordered that Igboho be remanded in the custody of Brigade Criminelle in Cotonou pending the submission of charges by the Nigerian Government, but ordered the release of his wife, Ropo who is a German citizen.
It would be recalled that Igboho and his wife were arrested at the Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou on Monday night while trying to catch a flight to Germany.

In a statement by Media Communications Secretary of the Yoruba self-determination groups’ umbrella body Ilana Omo Oodua (IOO) Mr Maxwell Adeleye, confirmed the case has been adjourned till Monday 26th July to allow the Federal Government to bring up evidence they may have against Igboho.
