The Kano All Progressive Congress, APC Governorship candidate and incumbent Deputy Governor, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna said God has already destined who will emerged the next Governor of the state.
Gawuna stated this while speaking with newsmen on Saturday shortly after casting his vote around 10am at his Polling Unit 042, Gidan Nasir Ahli, Gawuna ward, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State.
According to him, “I am super confident that the polls will be peaceful as it is and as it is now will continue to free and fair.
“”about winning of election, I will not go away from what I’ve always say that election are in the hands of God. I will always be humble to say that Allah has already destined whoever is going to be there. We have voted, people have shown that they have voted and so the outcome will be a very good delivery for people of Kano.

“The turnout is impressive as you can see that many people are already here to cast their votes,” he said He expressed confidence that he would emerge victorious at the polls. He also commended INEC for correcting some of the issues raised and hitches during the presidential election. Gawuna was accompanied by his wife, Hajiya Hafsat Gawuna.

“I am satisfied with the turnout of people who came out to vote,” Gawuna said.
