JUST IN: Nigeria COVID-19 cases hit 25,694 with 561 new infections
Nigeria has recorded 561 new cases of COVID19 with 17 deaths in the country, this according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The centre announced this on Tuesday night in a tweet.
It said so far, total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country stand at 25,694 after sample test of 134,257.
The tweet said the 561 new cases are reported from 19 states including the FCT are, Lagos(200), Edo(119), Kaduna(52), FCT(52), Niger(32), Ogun(19), Ondo(16), Imo(14), Plateau(11), Abia(8), Oyo(8), Bayelsa(7), Katsina(6),Kano(5), Bauchi(3), Osun(3), Kebbi(3), Borno(2), Jigawa(1)

Solacebase reports that 9,746 patients that tested negative have been discharged with 590 deaths recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
