Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has approved the appointments of Chairman, Executive Secretary and members of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board.

A statement issued by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Monday said, Alhaji Yusuf Lawan was appointed Chairman of the Board

According to the statement, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u was appointed Executive Secretary while Shiek Abbas Abubakar Daneji was appointed a member.

SOLACEBASE reports that other members appointed are Shiek Shehi Shehi Maihula, Amb. Munir Lawan, Shiek Isma’il Mangu, Hajia Aishatu Munir Matawalle and Dr. Sani Ashir.

‘’The appointees are expected to take over the affairs of the board immediately to ensure successful 2023 Hajj operation,’’ the statement said.
