Abba Moro emerges senate minority leader
A former Minister of Interior, Patrick Abba Moro, has emerged as the Senate Minority Leader.
His appointment was made known at the plenary on Tuesday, by the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Moro took over from Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon representing Plateau North Senatorial District who was removed by the Appeal Court.
It was gathered that the lawmakers in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) agreed to zone the position to the North-Central to allow for fairness and equity.
Patrick Abba is from Benue State in the North Central.
