Held at Kano Club, this year’s Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship attracted top tennis talents from across Nigeria.

Organized with the support of the Nigerian Tennis Federation, the event has reinforced its reputation as a premier competition, showcasing remarkable performances and sportsmanship.

The men’s doubles final added to the excitement, with Abubakar Yusuf and Adeleye Daniel defeating Abamu Mathew and Michael Emmanuel in straight sets, 7-6(2), 6-4. Their teamwork earned them the doubles title and concluded the event on a high note.

Canice’s win represents a significant milestone in his career, coming after multiple attempts at the tournament. The absence of last year’s champion, Henry Ase, who was eliminated earlier in the competition, provided an opportunity for new champions to emerge in both the singles and doubles categories.

As the 37th Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship ends, the tournament continues to play a crucial role in promoting tennis in Nigeria. With growing participation and competitive performances, players and fans are already looking forward to the next edition.
