ACF sympathizes with Jigawa people over fuel tanker explosion

The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF has sympathised with Governor Umar Namadi, the State Government and the people of Jigawa State following the tragic fuel tanker explosion in Majiya Town, Taura Local Government Area that killed over 160 with more than 50 hospitalized.

ACF Board of Trustees, Chairman Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, Wazirin Dutse, in a statement on Thursday, also commiserated with the Emir of Ringim Dr. Sayyadi Mahmud and the entire Emirate over the unfortunate incident.

In the statement, ACF expressed condolences to the Chairman of Taura Local Government Area and the people of Majiya Town, while expressing the belief that the appropriate authorities would find out the cause of the incident with a view to preventing a recurrence.

The Former Minister condoled the families of the victims, describing the incident as a national tragedy.

He enjoined the families of the victims to accept the incident in good faith as an act from the Almighty Allah.

The ACF Board of Trustees prayed Allah Almighty to grant the souls of the deceased eternal rest and give their families the fortitude to bear the loss.

He also prayed for a quick recovery for those currently in hospital and urges people to be safety conscious with a view to preventing future recurrence of such accidents.
