THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS
ADAMAWA STATE CHAPTER
Rebuttal: Adamawa APC endorses Tinubu, Ribadu
The attention of the Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is drawn to a news item circulating in a section of the media regarding purported endorsement of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, at an event where party stakeholders endorsed His Excellency President Bola Tinubu for second term.
The said news report completely and mischievously distorted the principle and conduct of the event held in Hong Local Government.

The meeting was held in continuation of ongoing tour of local government chapters to ginger up our members and pass down the decision of the State, Zonal and National leaderships of the party to support President Tinubu for another term of four years.

In fact, there is no basis nor justification to endorse the NSA as all persons nominated/appointed into positions are only nominated at the leisure of Mr President. We could not have stampeded the President into picking whoever he wants to work with.
For the record, the meeting in Hong only a passed vote of confidence in Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as a son of Adamawa State who was appointed into a sensitive position of trust by Mr President and in which he makes all of us proud due to his commendable performance.
We urge the public to disregard mischievous distortion of events that are meant to create confusion and fuel disaffection.
We once again reiterate our endorsement of Mr President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the flag bearer of our great party. We will continue to mobilise our people to ensure that we deliver Mr President comes 2027.
