The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano State has announced its newly elected officials following the state congress held on Sunday.

SolaceBase reports that Abdullahi Maikano from Kwankwaso’s camp emerged as Chairman, and Ali Datti Yako from Gawuna’s camp is now Deputy Chairman.

The congress was attended by prominent party stakeholders, including Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, Ali Amin Little, and Ibrahim Khalil, among others, highlighting the significance of the gathering.

The emergence of the new executives, drawn from various local government areas across the state, is seen as part of the party’s efforts to strengthen its internal structure and grassroots presence ahead of future political activities.

The representative of the ADC Senator Lawan Adamu Usman expressed optimism that the new leadership will consolidate the party’s position in Kano and enhance its chances in the upcoming elections.
