Two separate explosions have rocked some communities in Dansadau district, Maru LGA of Zamfara state.
The explosives went off along Malele and Dansadau-Malamawa roads.
According to Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency publication, the explosives severely impacted the communities. Casualty figures remain clear as of the time of filing this report.
This is the third such explosion in Zamfara in a week.
On Wednesday, eight people were killed when an explosive tore through the Gusau-Dansadau bridge, destroying a Golf car.

The Zamfara police command had said members of the Lakurawa terrorist group were responsible for the bombing.
The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) condemned the bombing of the bridge.
Last Sunday, gunmen detonated a device planted at Mai Gamme bridge, ahead of a planned attack on residents of the Ungwan Galadima community, in Maru LGA.
