ALPSPN reinstates 5 removed BoT, recalls 4 suspended NEC members

The Association of Licensed Private Security Practitioners of Nigeria (ALPSPN) has reinstated 5 members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) that were removed from office.

Similarly, the association recalled 4 members of the National Executive Council that were indefinitely suspended.

SOLACEBASE reports that were part of the resolution of the association at an emergency general meeting held on October, 17th, 2022.

The meeting presided by the National President , Wilson Esangbedo also directed suspended state Chairman and Secretary of the association in Gombe to return back to office.

According to the resolution, the 5 removed BoT members reinstated are AVM M.N. Umaru (rtd), Barr. Edwin Onah, Alhaji Musa Pindiga, Compol Lawrence Alobi (rtd) and Barr. Nkanor Akpatre.

It said the National Executive Council members recalled from suspension are Mr. Chris Adigwu, National General Secreatry, Hon. Chinedu Egbenumolise, Treasurer.

Recalls that the removal of the BOT members and suspension of NEC members was adopted at an emergency meeting of the association held on 6th September, 2022.

While the recalled Gombe State Chairman and Secretary from suspension are Alhaji Adamu Abubakar and John Audu respectively, as well as Ambassador Usman Danjuma Ibrahim former Borno State Chairman

The meeting resolved that a 7-man committee of neutral members of the Association for Peacemaking be establish with one member from BoT and one member from National Executive Council.
