AMIS mourns Kano athletes killed in national sports festival accident
The Association of Model Islamic Schools (AMIS), Kano Chapter, has extended condolences to the Kano State Government, the people of the state, and the grieving families over the tragic loss of lives in a recent road accident involving Kano athletes returning from the National Sports Festival.
SolaceBase reports that the condolence was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by Sa’eed Bello, Ph.D., Chairman of AMIS Kano, and Sharfuddeen A. Jibril, State Secretary of the association.
The statement described the incident as a devastating event that has cast a shadow of sorrow over the state, noting that AMIS stands in full solidarity with the bereaved families and the state government during this painful period.

“We pray that Allah (SWT) grants the departed souls His boundless mercy, forgives their shortcomings, and admits them into Al-Jannah Firdaus,” the statement read.

“We also pray for the quick recovery of the injured and for Allah to grant the families the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.”
AMIS further prayed for protection from future tragedies and for the continued peace and well-being of Kano State.
