The Borno State Government on Monday announced the death of the state’s Commissioner for Finance, Ahmad Ali Ahmad.

This was contained in a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar.

The statement said that Ahmad died on Monday morning.

The statement said, “His burial is scheduled for 5 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri.”

It was gathered that the commissioner died inside his room in the morning.

The deceased was said to have exceeded the time he usually comes out in the morning.

His door was then forced open where his corpse was found.

The Babagana Zulum-led administration has lost two commissioners and cabinet members within one year.
