A new National President of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria has been elected, in the person of Alh. Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem.
This is contained in a statement on Monday by the National Publicity Secretary, Dr Muhammad Hassan.
Hassan said the new president was elected during the 11th Triennial Conference of the Society, recently held in Abeokuta.
He also disclosed that other major appointments into the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society executive council at the event.
According to him, Dr Ibrahim Yusuf was named as Deputy President, while Alh. Najeem Yasin becomes Vice President (North).

Regional Vice Presidents include Alh. Nurudeen Okunleye (Lagos), Alh. Jimoh Popoola (Ogun), and Retired Justice Moshood Ajeigbe (Osun).
Others are Alh. Tesleem Adediran (Oyo), Alh. Sulaiman Ogunlayi (Ekiti), and Alh. Yusuf Adesina Soliu (Ondo).
Alh. Abdul-Rahman Olabode Salaudeen has been appointed as the new National Secretary, among other executive members.
In his acceptance speech, Kazeem pledged to lead with transparency, unity, and dedication to Islamic principles.
He highlighted his focus on education, outreach, leadership development, and organisational transparency.
Key initiatives include reforming Summit University’s management and investing in research and staff training.
He also aims to expand access to education through Ansar-Ud-Deen schools nationwide.
“Ansar-Ud-Deen Heritage Centres will be established to showcase Islamic history, art, and scholarship.
“The new AnsarCare Initiative will offer medical aid and vocational training for widows and orphans.
“A digital portal will be launched to track projects, finances, and collect member feedback,” he said.
Kazeem pledged to promote unity, empower youth, and build strategic partnerships to strengthen the society.

Who is Alhaji Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem?
Alhaji Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem (SAN) hails from Isale-Eko in Lagos Island and was born in Lagos, Nigeria on 19th April 1965 to Late Honourable Justice Boonyamin Oladiran Kazeem a former Solicitor General of the Federation and Judge of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and Princess Jemilat Adetoun Kazeem a daughter of late Oba Adeniji–Adele II of Lagos.
He attended St Saviours School, Ebute Metta, Lagos for his primary school before proceeding to Federal Government College Warri for his O’Levels and Federal Government College Lagos for his A’levels respectively.
Alhaji Adeniji then proceeded to the University of Lagos, where he obtained a second-class Upper degree in Political Science in 1986 with a special prize in Comparative Political Systems. He served his one-year statutory Nigerian Youth service at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs as a Research Assistant before returning to the University of Lagos to study Law. He graduated with a second-class Upper Law degree in 1990 with a special prize in International Law and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991.
He also holds an LLM in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

Alhaji Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem
His professional career started in 1991 when he joined the International Consulting Firm of Arthur Andersen (Now KPMG Professional Services) and rose to Senior Associate in the firm’s Tax and Business Regulatory Services Division before voluntarily resigning in 1996. During his career at Arthur Andersen, Mr. Kazeem was exposed to varied Tax, Consulting and Business Advisory training and experience.
In 1996, Alhaji Adeniji set up the Law Firm of Adeniji Kazeem & Co to cater for local and International legal needs. He has since then run the full-service Law Firm with offices in Lagos and Abuja. The Firm specialises in litigation and ADR, ICT Law, Intellectual Property, Commercial Law and Company Secretarial services to the Public and Private Sector.
He is the author of the book Electronic Contract Formation and the Nigerian Initiatives, and several other publications. He is a Notary Public of the Federation, member of the International Trade Mark Association, member International Bar Association, and member Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
He is also the National Legal Adviser of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Secretary of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Education Trust, member of the Board of Governors of Ansar-Ud-Deen College Isolo before emerging as the National President of the Society at the just concluded 11th Triennial Conference. He is happily married with children.
