APC, NNPP reject two LGAs results in Kano

The Retuning Officers of APC and NNPP in the Presidential election in Kano have rejected results from Dambatta and Makoda Local Government areas of the state.
SOLACEBASE reports that Dr Gwarzo Kabir is the returning officer for NNPP and Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, is the returning officer of the APC. rejected the results of those local governments, each crying foul.
Dr Gwarzo Kabir of NNPP, alleged that BVAS were not used at the local governments, despite the fact that they won the elections, while Bichi of APC claimed that the party’s results were higher than what was declared.
Bichi said the party was shortchanged with about 2,000 votes.
The INEC Returning Officer from Dambatta, Professor Abdulmalik Auwal said he escaped by whiskers as armed thugs chased him away.

“I was chased away like a Criminal and without any Security to saved me, I came to INEC all along by myself”, he declared.
However, INEC Kano Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor , Uthman Dan Fodio University , Sokoto, Prof. Lawal Sulyman Bilbis, said the BVAS would be check to address the issues.
In another development the NNPP Presidential Candidate Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso gave Governor Abdullahi Ganduje a sweeping defeat at his home town Dawakin Tofa with a margin of 25,072 for NNPP to 16,773 for APC
