Arsenal reach agreement with Bologna to sign Riccardo Calafiori
Arsenal and Serie A club Bologna have both finally reached an agreement for the signing of Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori.
Per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, both clubs have reached a breakthrough in negotiations with a fee of €40 million plus €5m add-ons and a sell-on clause reportedly agreed.

Romano added that Calafiori made it clear with the Bologna board that he wants to play for the Gunners, with the defender asking to leave the club.

‘‘Riccardo Calafiori has been clear with the Bologna board as soon as he returned from holiday.
‘‘The Italian defender asked to leave and make his dream true after a 5-year deal agreed with Arsenal.
‘‘Arsenal and Bologna have agreed on terms, waiting for final steps,’’ Romano wrote on X.
