Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta has revealed the points tally his team must secure to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title next season.

Ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United in Los Angeles at the SoFi Stadium on Sunday, Arteta explained what it would take to overtake City this time.

“114 points. If we do that, we will win the league for sure,” Arteta said.

“This is the objective, from there we’ll see what we get. Earn the right to win it and have the biggest probability over the opponent.

“When we have difficulties we are still better than the opponents. That’s really the objective.”

The Spaniard said the message is clear that they need more from everybody which includes him.

He added; “The more we do that, the better the chance it’s going to be to win the Premier League. This is what we want basically.”
