2024: Asake releases third album ‘Lungu Boy’, features Wizkid, others

Afrobeats sensation, Asake, has released his third studio album titled ‘Lungu Boy’.

The ‘Lonely At The Top’ hitmaker released the album in the early hours of Friday.

In the 13-track project, the singer enlists the expertise of prominent singers like Wizkid, Stormzy, Travis Scott, Central Cee, and Ludmilla, the Brazilian singer.

The songs in the album include ‘MMS’, ‘Mood’, ‘My Heart’, ‘Worldwide’, ‘Active’, ‘Suru’, ‘Skating’, ‘Wave’, and ‘Mentally’.

Other tracks are ‘Uhh Yeah’, ‘I Swear’, ‘Ligali’, and ‘Whine’. The singer also added a bonus track titled ‘Fuji Vibe’.

Asake has released two studio albums, ‘Mr Money With The Vibes’ (2022) and ‘Work of Art’ (2023). He has also earned a plethora of awards and nominations for his craft.

Asake was also nominated in the Best African Music Performance’ category at the 2024 Grammys for ‘Amapiano’, his hit song with Olamide, the rapper.
