ASUU Strike: ABU announces resumption date

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, in Kaduna State, has directed students of the institution to resume for academic activities Monday, 24^th October, 2022.

SOLACEBASE reports that this follows approval of the revised academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic session by the Senate of the University at its (Emergency) meeting held on Wednesday, 19^th October.

This was contained in the university special bulletin released on Wednesday.

It said the calendar earlier approved by the senate at its 513rd (Regular) meeting held on 25^th November, 2021 had to be revised largely due to Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)’s eight months strike which was called off last Friday.
