ATM Jega defends Kebbi governor, lists 101 key projects across state

The Chief Executive Officer of Kantin Sauki Nigeria Ltd, Ahmad Tijjani Musa, popularly known as ATM Jega, has defended the Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), against what he described as unfair criticism of the administration’s performance.

He disclosed this during a media briefing held on Saturday in Kano, where he presented a comprehensive list of 101 completed and ongoing projects initiated under Governor Idris’s administration across various sectors, including infrastructure, education, health, and agriculture.

According to ATM Jega, some of the major projects include the dualisation of key roads in Argungu and Birnin Kebbi, renovation of emir palaces, construction of new schools, and distribution of fertilizers and palliatives to support farmers and vulnerable families.

He further explained that the governor has made significant investments in education by paying WAEC and scholarship fees for students, recruiting 2,000 teachers, and offering automatic employment to newly qualified doctors and nurses.

Additionally, new ministries have been created for Digital Economy, Rural Electrification, and Humanitarian Affairs to enhance governance and service delivery.

“The governor is working hard for the people of Kebbi. Anyone who visits the state can see the progress. This is not the time for propaganda or lies,” ATM Jega stated.

He called on opposition members and critics to be objective and base their comments on verifiable facts rather than politics, noting that the people of Kebbi State are already witnessing the impact of effective leadership under Governor Nasir Idris.
