The governor prayed for Almighty God to give the traditional leader more health and days ahead, describing him as a father for all.

Responding, the district head of Beli, Alhaji Muhammadu commended the governor for the visit despite his myriad schedules, adding that it was timely and promising.

The centenarian explained that the community is also in desperate need of a hospital for its over 60 thousand residents who suffered negligence for several years.

He prayed for Allah to protect Bala against any evil and give him in abundance, noting that they are ready to put their weight behind the governor to support him for another four years to accomplish his good works.

“We the people of this community are always supporting you. Help construct the road for us and we need a hospital as well. We complained several time but our applications were dumped in dust bins.”

SOLACEBASE reports that Beli community is about 10 kilometres away from the main junction at Jigau along Shira highway with a road of horrible terrain, which if constructed would give the agrarian communities who suffered for a long, a smiling face.

In his effort to canvass for votes from electorates, Bala, like other candidates had several campaign tours to the nooks and crannies of the state with several promises.

In the March governorship elections, Governor Bala will face other contenders with ballots; among which are the former Chief of Air Staff, Amb. Sadique Baba Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Senator Halliru Dauda Jika of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) among others.
