Barau rallies APC stakeholders in Kano to support Tinubu’s vision for national prosperity

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has rallied support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the President’s sole aim is to bring prosperity to the country.

He told reporters at the end of a highly strategic meeting of critical stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Kano State in Abuja on Thursday.

” I urge all stalwarts to continue to support the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,  His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the actualisation of his sole aim of bringing prosperity to our country.

” It was unanimously agreed by all at the meeting that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has done very well for our state and indeed the entire nation. We have identified several projects being implemented in our state and throughout the entire northern part of the country.

” We also observed that so many people from our state and indeed the entire northern part of the country have been appointed to occupy various federal positions,” he was quoted in a statement by his media aide, Alhaji Ismail Mudashir.

According to him, the APC in Kano State has been growing from strength to strength with members of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), the ruling party in the state, decamping en masse to the APC.

” We also understand the fact that our party is now growing from strength to strength because of the several interventions made by Mr President towards alleviating the suffering of our people.

” We have also encouraged our people and ourselves to do more to inform the people of our state and, indeed, the entire northern region about what the President is doing and what he has done for our nation.

“We are solidly behind him (President Tinubu), as stated by the former National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. We are behind him because he loves us.

” We have never asked for anything from him for the development of our people that he has not done for us. He has established several institutions and developmental projects, among others, for the benefit of our people.

” We are behind him and we have urged our people, our party faithful, that everybody, all the strategic stakeholders that are here at the meeting that they should go back home and continue to support, to tell their people to continue to support Mr. President, to continue to support APC and to continue to pray for our nation, to continue to pray for our President so that he will achieve his aim of bringing prosperity to our country,” he said.
