Bashir Dalhatu mourns Ghali Na’abba
The Chairman Board of Trustees, BoT, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu Wazirin Dutse, has expressed grief over the death of Ghali Umar Na’abba, who passed away on Wednesday in Abuja.
The deceased, who served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, represented Kano Municipal Federal Constituency from 1999 to 2003 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Bashir Dalhatu described late Ghali Umar Na’abba as an upright and courageous legislator who stood by democratic tenets.

He noted that Ghali was always guided by the national interest and that of his community in discharging his legislative responsibilities.
“With the death of Ghali Umar Na’abba, the North and indeed Nigeria has lost a reliable adviser.
His wise counsel on national issues was always being sought by both the leadership, youth, and individuals.
“During his stay in the House, late Na’abba was known for his outspokenness, forthrightness, and courage in telling the truth to those in power without attaching any partisan, religious or tribal sentiments,’’ he said.

The ACF BoT Chairman, said the late lawmaker’s wise counsel, insight, and forthrightness would be missed by his community and the country at large.
While sympathizing with the immediate family of the deceased his friends, constituents, and the government, the people of Kano State, Wazirin Dutse prayed Almighty Allah to grant his soul Jannatul Firdous.
