Blackville has unveiled a new creative management platform, Blackville Talents Agency Ltd, trading as The Talents Agency by Blackville, marking the beginning of the New Year with a strategic expansion into talent discovery and representation.
The announcement was made on Thursday, 1 January 2026, with the company describing the initiative as a bold step aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s creative ecosystem.
SolaceBase reports that the Talents Agency by Blackville is positioned as a 360-talent discovery, recruitment, management, and promotion company, focused on nurturing and projecting creative talents across multiple disciplines for both local and international markets.
Blackville Talents Agency Ltd is a sister company to Blackville Media Ltd, the production house behind the acclaimed films Kaka and Mai Martaba, Nigeria’s official submission for the 2025 Oscars.
Both films were directed by Prince Daniel, the Chief Executive Officer of both companies, whose body of work has earned critical recognition within and outside the country.
As part of its launch, The Talents Agency by Blackville unveiled its first signed talent, celebrated actor Maryam Booth.
Booth is a multi-award-winning crossover actor whose filmography includes the critically acclaimed The Milkmaid, Nigeria’s first-ever official submission to the Oscars.

Beyond acting, Maryam Booth is also recognised as a model, brand ambassador, and multi-talented creative who has steadily built a strong professional profile within the Nigerian entertainment industry and on the global stage.

Under the new agreement, The Talents Agency by Blackville will manage Booth’s professional assets and represent her nationally and internationally for an initial period of one year.

The scope of representation covers her work as an actor, model, brand ambassador, and other strategic creative engagements.
Speaking on the signing, the agency described Booth as a consummate professional and one of the most talented actors in the Nigerian film industry, noting that the partnership aims to build, strengthen, and reposition her brand for sustained global relevance.

The agency further stated that Booth’s talent, discipline, and growing international profile make her a worthy representative among Nigeria’s expanding list of creative exports, as the country continues to assert itself on the global creative map.
The statement concluded by formally welcoming Maryam Booth to The Talents Agency by Blackville, signalling the beginning of what it described as a high impact and purpose-driven collaboration.
