Kaduna State Government has declared a 24-hour curfew in Jema’a and Kaura local government areas with immediate effect.
Solacebase gathered that the curfew follows the alleged killing of 15 people and razing of many houses by suspected militia.
The militia reportedly killed 15 residents of Agban Kagoro, Kaura LGA, on Sunday night.
According to a statement issued by the State Commissioner, Internal Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwan, on Monday said this is to assist the security agencies to stabilize the situation in the areas, save lives and property and enable the restoration of law and order.
