Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced 288 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
The centre hinted this in a tweet on Friday night with total infections of 5445.
It said 1320 patients have been discharged while 171 deaths have been recorded.
The tweet stated that 14 states recorded new infections as the total tested cases now stands at 31, 702

Meanwhile, NCDC said on the 14th of May, 4 cases reported from Plateau & 1 case from Akwa Ibom, were repeat cases, therefore Plateau has a total of 21 cases and Akwa Ibom has a total of 16 cases
