“The CDA Open Day, introduced two years ago, serves as a platform for interaction and networking among researchers, staff, and partners. Initially hosted on a farm, this year’s event expanded its focus to include various aspects of agricultural business.

“Notably, an agri-hacking competition featured over 90 young businesses, with five selected for support and funding after rigorous assessment and mentorship by Apollo. Discussions involving representatives from agriculture, business, and banking sectors highlighted effective collaboration to advance the country, with promising presentations and potential investor interest.

“In addition, the CDA launched Agri-Hacking 2.0, aiming to facilitate open interactions between farmers, industry partners, and academia. Attendees are encouraged to share suggestions, and outstanding CDA staff and partners will be recognized for their contributions over the past year.”
