The Bayero University Kano has expelled 62 students and rusticated 17 others over alleged examination misconduct.
SolaceBase reports that the disciplinary decision was adopted by the university senate at its 421st meeting held on Wednesday, 26th February 2025.
This was contained in the weekly bulletin of the university released on Friday.

It said 17 students were rusticated, 5 exonerated, 29 warned, and the case of three others was deferred.
The statement said the decision was in accordance with General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR) of the university.
