BUK resumes academic activities after labour unions strike
Bayero University Kano (BUK) has resumed academic activities from today Thursday, following the suspension of the nationwide strike embarked upon by the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress.
SOLACEBASE reports that in a special bulletin signed by the university’s acting Registrar, Amina Umar Abdullahi on Thursday based on the resolution of the meeting of the Central Scheduling Committee held today, the 2022/2023 first Semester examinations are to resume on Friday, November, 17th. 2023, according to the examination timetable.

It, however, said all examinations that fall within the days of the strike (Tuesday, 14th to Thursday 16th November, 2023), are to be rescheduled after the last examinations of the respective faculties.
It added that students are further requested to await details from their faculties on the missed examinations.
