Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, Private Principal Secretary to the late elder statesman and business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, has revealed that discussions are still ongoing regarding the final burial arrangements with Saudi Arabian authorities.
Speaking to SolaceBase in Kano, on Saturday, Alhaji Abdullahi Junaidu stated that the family is working closely with both the Federal Government of Nigeria and officials in Saudi Arabia to fulfil the late Dantata’s wish to be buried in Madina, in accordance with his will.
“Alhaji Aminu Dantata left a clear instruction that if he dies, he should be buried in Madina. We are committed to honouring that wish.”

He noted that the delay in concluding the burial plans is partly due to the weekend, which has affected the speed of processing the necessary paperwork and approvals.

“As it stands, the paperwork is still ongoing. If the process appears it will take too long, the family may consider returning his remains to Kano for burial.”
Alhaji Mustapha urged the public to remain calm and await an official announcement from the family regarding the final burial arrangements.
SolaceBase had earlier reported that Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a renowned philanthropist, businessman, and elder statesman, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, leaving behind a legacy of generosity, community development, and nation-building.
