Christmas: Time to remember the poor, vulnerable- ACF
The Chairman Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) Board of Trustees, Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, Wazirin Dutse, has felicitated with Nigerians, particularly the Christian faithful, as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, in a message, on Saturday urged Christians to use the festive occasion to pray for unity, peace, and prosperity of Nigeria.
He called on Christians to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasizes tolerance, patience, kindness, care for the needy, and love for one another, among other virtues.

The ACF Board of Trustees Chairman noted that the yuletide season presents us an opportunity once more to love, share, and forgive. He urged all Nigerian Christian faithful to use the festive period to pray for unity, peace, and prosperity in the country.

Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu also called on Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the true virtues of faith in God, love for one another, honesty, and peaceful co-existence, as it is time to make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily lives.
Similarly, the Chairman drew the attention of wealthy individuals to remember the poor and vulnerable in society, saying that times are indeed very hard,” but we must open from our reservoir of kindness to take care of the less privileged.”
