CP Kankarofi visits Gov Ododo, pledges stronger community-policing partnership
The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, on Thursday visited the state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
SolaceBase reports that the visit coincided with that of the Commandant, NSCDC.
A statement issued by Police Public Relations, Kogi Command, CSP William Ovye Aya, on Thursday said the meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the State Government and the Police Command to ensure peace, security, and community development.
‘’During the visit, CP Kankarofi commended the Governor for the continued support to the Police and other security agencies in the State.

He briefed the Governor on Recent security initiatives, Crime‑prevention strategies and upcoming community‑policing programs
He further highlighted areas of mutual interest, such as intelligence sharing, synergy among security agencies, and joint efforts to curb violent crime in the State.
The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to backing law‑enforcement agencies and pledged full support for the implementation of security policies aimed at maintaining law and order in the state.
Both leaders expressed optimism that the partnership would foster a safer, more prosperous environment for the citizens of Kogi State.
