Dahir Muhammad Hashim Foundation launches back-to-school initiative

A Dahir Muhammad Hashim Foundation has launched a back-to-school initiative aimed at supporting 100 primary school pupils across Dala Local Government area, Kano State.

Speaking on Sunday, the promoter of the Foundation and Kano ACRESAL Project Coordinator, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim, emphasized the importance of education in building a strong society.

“We all know that education is the backbone of a society,” he said.

“If we want to build human beings, we must provide them with education. Knowledge is what has made me who I am today. I want these children to have a sound education so they can become better than all of us.”

SolaceBase reports that Dr. Hashim expressed gratitude to former Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for sponsoring his education during his second term in office as governor.

“I want these children to be proud of me for what I have done for them, just as I am proud to be a beneficiary of the Kwankwaso scholarship program,” he added.

This is the first phase of the initiative, and Dr Hashim plans to continue it annually in Dala Local Government Area.
