DSS bursts child trafficking syndicate, arrests 2 suspects in Kano
The Department of State Service (DSS) has bursted a child trafficking syndicate and apprehended a 17 Year old lady with her sponsor and recovered a 4 year old, girl, Aisha abducted from Nguru in Yobe State.
SolaceBase reports that the Kano office of the DSS, said on Tuesday that the Kano State Hisbah Officials handed over to a 4 year old girl, Aisha who was kidnapped from Nguru and brought to Kano by the 17 Year old lady (names withheld) after they suspected that there was no connection between the abducted baby and her.
The DSS noted that after receiving the abducted 4 year old Aisha and her abductor, they traced the man behind child trafficking from Neighboring states and subsequently sold in Southern part of the country.
“We arrested the real kingpin in the abduction of children from around neighboring States to Kano and sold in the Southern Part where it becomes difficult to trace them”.
The DSS said after interrogation of the 17 Year old lady, she confirmed to them that the man whom she knows selling ground nuts closed to her home, introduced her into abduction of the 4 year old Aisha and promised her that nothing will happened to her.

The Ring Leaders of the Children abductors, confirmed that the kidnapping of the 4 year old Aisha was the third nefarious acts he had perpetrated from Nguru.
“Luck ran out of me after I used this lady to get Aisha for me and brought to Kano where i normally collect the abducted children and pay off the abductors while I will move on with my partners”, he confessed.
