Eid el-Kabir: Kano deputy gov felicitates Muslims, urges sober reflection

Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in the State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid el-Kabir.

In a Sallah message signed by his Press Secretary, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, the Deputy Governor called on the Muslim Ummah to use the festive period for sober reflection, prayers, and the promotion of peace, unity, and tolerance in society.

He emphasized that Eid el-Kabir stands as a symbol of sacrifice, obedience, and total submission to the will of Allah.

Comrade Gwarzo also extended felicitations to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, lauding their steadfast leadership and unwavering dedication to the progress and development of the state.

In addition, he congratulated Kano pilgrims currently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a successful Hajj exercise, praying for their safe return and the acceptance of their spiritual devotion.

The Deputy Governor reaffirmed the commitment of the Abba Kabir Yusuf-led administration to transparency, accountability, and the implementation of development-oriented policies for the growth and prosperity of Kano State.

He also advised parents to closely monitor their children and protect them from negative influences, emphasizing the importance of moral guidance in shaping a better future for society.
