El-Rufai speaks on Kano emirship tussle, says Sanusi’s reinstatement important to him

Malam Nasir El-Rufai has reacted to the reinstatement of the 16th Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi.

The former Kaduna State Governor, who spoke on Wednesday during his appearance at the Arewa Tech Fest, an event that gathered political and technology leaders to discuss advancements in Northern Nigeria said Emir Sanusi’s reinstatement is an important event in his life.

“The reinstatement of his highness is mne of the most important events in my life and I want to congratulate you once again,” he said.

He also said the reinstatement marks a moment of vindication and renewal for Northern Nigeria’s traditional leadership.
