SolaceBase reports that the complaints accused the son of a district head, Isah Dahiru, and the suspended village head, Malam Rabi’u Yusuf, of allegedly selling farmlands belonging to the late District Head of Madobi, Alhaji Sale Musa Kwankwaso, without his knowledge or consent.

Speaking during the hearing, representatives of the Emirate stated that investigations revealed the village head had a role in the alleged illegal transaction, describing the act as a betrayal of the trust and authority of the Kano Emirate.

PROMISES-DELIVERED

One of the complainants, Muddasir Dahiru, told the Emirate Council that he filed the petition after discovering that the district head’s son and the village head allegedly sold him portions of the district head’s farmland without obtaining the owner’s approval.
