Hajia Hauwa Jega, mother of former INEC Chairman, and ex-Vice Chancellor, Bayero University, Kano, Prof. Muhammad Attahiru Jega is dead.

Credible sources told SolaceBase on Saturday that Hajia Hauwa died on Friday in Abuja, after a brief illness.

The sources said she would be buried today, Saturday as funeral prayer is scheduled for National Mosque at 1.30 pm in Abuja.

It was gathered that she was in her mid-90s
