Former Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Iliyasu Sa’idu Dundubu, is dead.
Alhaji Iliyasu Sa’idu Dundubu served as Speaker from 1999 to 2003 during the tenure of Governor Ibrahim Saminu Turaki.
It was gathered that Dundubu died at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Shika after a protracted illness, leaving behind his wives, children and grandchildren.
The Jigawa State Government has condoled with the family and the people of the state over the death of the late ex-Speaker.

The State Deputy Governor, Malam Umar Namadi led the state government delegation who attended the funeral prayer of the former Speaker in Dundubus town of Dutse local government area.
The deputy governor prayed for Allah to grant the deceased eternal peace and give his family and relatives the fortitude to bear the loss.
