Former Kano State Commissioner of Budget and Planning, Barrister Zubaida Damakka Abubakar has died.

Family sources told SOLACEBASE that Zubaida, who was a commissioner during the first tenure of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje died in Abuja on Saturday, after a brief illness.

One of the sources said her funeral prayer will take place in Kano at Gwammaja quarters, on Sunday at 9 AM.

She is survived by her husband and three children.
