Federal University Kashere to hold combined convocation ceremonies
The Federal University Kashere (FUK), Gombe State, has announced the schedule for its upcoming 6th,7th,8th and 9th Combined Convocation Ceremonies, which will take place from Tuesday, July 1 to Saturday, July 5, 2025.
SolaceBase reports that the ceremonies will include the award of diplomas, degrees, prizes, and the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Umaru A. Pate, on behalf of the Council and Senate of the university, extended a cordial invitation to the general public to attend the events, which are set to be held at the university’s Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall and other designated venues.
According to the official programme, the convocation activities will commence with a press briefing at the Senate Chamber on Tuesday, July 1, at 2:00 p.m.

On Thursday, July 3, the university will host a Convocation Alumni event at the Entrepreneurship and Service Learning Centre Auditorium, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
This will be followed by a two-day exhibition at the same venue from July 3 to 4, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
One of the highlights of the convocation week will be the investiture of the Chancellor and the undergraduate convocation ceremonies for the award of first degrees and prizes on Friday, July 4.
This segment will take place at the Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Later that day, a convocation lecture will be delivered by Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, CON, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare.
The lecture will be chaired by Senator Muhammadu Danjuma Goje, Sarkin Yakin Gombe, who represents Gombe Central Senatorial District.
The event will be held at the New Five Hundred Capacity Lecture Theatre at the university’s new site at 4:00 p.m.
The grand finale of the convocation ceremonies will be held on Saturday, July 5, with the award of higher degrees and the conferment of honorary doctorate degrees at 10:00 a.m., followed by the commissioning of projects at 1:00 p.m.
