The National Council on Privatization (NCP) has approved the acquisition of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), by Transcorp Group.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, announced this on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Osinbajo stated this while speaking at the commissioning of the 240MW Afam Three Fast Power Plant ongoing in Port Harcourt.
