The Federal Government has announced moves to suspend duties, tariffs and taxes on the importation of maize, husked brown rice, wheat and cowpeas.

This was contained in a statement signed by Abubakar Kyari, minister of agriculture and food security, on Monday.

He said the suspension is part of measures to be implemented over the next 180 days to ameliorate food inflation in Nigeria.
