FG trains 60 women, youths on skills acquisition program

About sixty women and youths have received training on skills acquisition programs from 3 states.

The beneficiaries are from Katsina, Jigawa and Yobe states at the training organized by National Agency for the Great Green Wall held in Kano.

Speaking at the flag off, of the program, on Tuesday, the Director General of the Agency Dr Yusif Maina Bukar said that the participants were trained on tailoring with the aim of creating enabling environment and source of livelihood.

Dr. Bukar said the skill acquisition training is for societal development which president Muhammad Buhari introduced to assist woman and youths to be Self reliance

The NAGGW boss represented by the Director , Kano Operational Office, Alhaji Aminu Yahaya Isah said the training is part of the agency’s Community Development Program aimed at empowering women and youths.
