‘First game is crucial’ — Brazil star targets win against Super Falcons
Brazil forward Adriana Leal da Silva says it is important for the team to start their 2024 Olympic Games with a win against Nigeria.
The two countries will clash at the Stade Bordeaux on Thursday.

Adriana is aware of the Nigerian side’s pedigree and warned they must be at their best to get maximum points from the game.
“This first game is crucial. In fact, it will always be like this. In any case, we need to have a lot of concentration and focus for this debut. And take it step by step,” the Orlando Pride striker said following the team’s arrival in Bordeaux.

The Super Falcons caught the eyes of many with their impressive performance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Nigeria is expected to play the Olympics in a tough group that also has world champions Spain and Japan.
