Foundation trains 100 women on entrepreneurship in Kano

A non-governmental organization, ELOY Foundation in partnership with MATA Network has trained about 100 women entrepreneurs on how to sustain their business and develop resilience to challenges hindering success.

The training was organized to equip the women entrepreneurs on the need to approach their businesses with the right mindset and practical ways to do so in order to achieve success.

The founder of the ELOY Foundation, Tewa Onasanya, in her introductory session highlights the need for women entrepreneur to break the ceiling glass in order to attain success.

“It is time to dish out nuggets as entrepreneurs, to have a good mindset for success,” Tewa Onasanya said.

Also MATA Network co-founder, Yasmin Obadaki in her discussion “brand visibility”, she took women on a progressive journey through the importance of branding, benefits of branding and the branding for modern-day businesses, citing major players in food industry and new entrants to boost the trainee’s morale.

At the event, real life business stories were shared from two phenomenal business women in Kano, Hajiya Hauwa ashaka and Mrs Iyabo Adeyanju, in order for the women to have confidence, consistency, resilience and willingness to fight for what they believe in.

The workshop had in attendance, Hajiya Hadiza Nuhu Baba, proprietress, Intercontinental schools, Kano. the co-founder of Gusto Restaurant, Fetme Fadilah, Mrs Iyabo Adeyanju from Feltitio and ID investment Ltd and Hajiya Hauwa Ashaka, founder Bubbles Beauty who all shared their experience and how they upset all odds to become dominant players in business as women.

The ELOY Foundation is an organization with the primary aim to empower women business owners and the program was powered by First Bank Plc.

First Bank Plc disclosed to participants its newly –launched business loan at 9% interest rate for female entrepreneurs.

Also, at the event MATA announced her forth coming women conference slated for December , 2022.
