Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has directed the Permanent Secretary, in charge of Council Affairs, Hajia Mu’azatu Isa Dutse, to supervise the office of the Head of Service pending the appointment of a new one.
SOLACEBASE reports that the directive follows the voluntary resignation of the Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Usman Bala.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to Kano State Government, Abdullahi Baffa Bichi on Wednesday.
The statement said the directive is effective from November 1st, 2023.
