Kano State Government has announced the passing of Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Radio, Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci.
Mr. Galadanci passed away on 26th March 2025 after a brief illness at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH).
In a statement by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa,on Wednesday, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed sorrow over the loss, describing Mr. Tanka Galadanci as a dedicated and invaluable member of the administration whose contributions to the state’s media and communication landscape were significant.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time,” the Governor stated.
SolaceBase reports that the burial rites for the late Abdullahi Tanka Galadanci is scheduled to take place today at 5:30 PM at the Filin Galadanchi Mosque, near the residence of Galadiman Kano.
