2023 Petition: Governorship tribunal fixes Wednesday for judgement

The governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Kano has scheduled Wednesday, September 20th for the judgment of the All Progressives Congress (APC) suit challenging the electoral victory of Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

SOLACEBASE reports that in a hearing notice issued on Monday, September, 18^th, by the Secretary of the election petition tribunal, it said the judgment will be delivered at 9.00 am, High Court of Miller Road.

It could be recalled that the APC dragged NNPP and INEC to the tribunal over the declaration of Abba Kabir Yusuf as the winner of the governorship election held on March 11th, 2023.
